Flow to Turn On Technology Demos in Sam Sharpe Square this Saturday

Flow is going to Turn It On for consumers in western Jamaica this Saturday, June 30th when it’s summer road show arrives in Sam Sharpe Square. The broadband  service provider will fete members of the Montego Bay community with special summer deals, entertainment for the kids, giveaways, and demonstrations of the company’s Watch, Talk and Click products starting from 9:00am.
Turn It On is part of Flow’s wider programme of activities to commemorate Jamaica 50. The promotion pays homage to the historic milestone by giving new and existing customers a chance to win exciting prizes -  fifty (50) 32” Samsung LED televisions, 50 wireless routers and 50 cordless telephones. In addition, all new customers receive 50% off installation and 50% off 1 month’s bill. As a special bonus offer just for this weekend, customers who sign up on the spot in Sam Sharpe Square on Saturday will also get $1,000 off 1 month’s bill.

Janet Budall-Beckford fell in love with her new 32” Samsung LED TV which she won in the Flow Turn It On Summer Promotion. The winners were presented with their prizes at a surprise handover on Wednesday, June 13 at the Flow store in Sovereign Centre. Flow is giving both new and existing customers a chance to win  one of 50 television sets, 50 cordless phones and 50 wireless routers during the promotion period.

Columbus Business Solutions partners with PSOJ to honour 50 top nation builders

The achievements of 50 Jamaicans under 50 years of age who have made notable contributions to national development will be heralded in the PSOJ/Gleaner 50UnderFifty programme. The 50 awardees will be honoured for their achievements through thought leadership, innovation and philanthropy. Columbus Communications Jamaica Limited, operators of the Flow and Columbus Business Solutions brands, has teamed up with the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica and the Gleaner Company to recognize the achievements of the group of awardees which will be comprised of those persons who are expected to make a significant impact on Jamaica’s civic and business landscape in the foreseeable future.

Flow will showcase their stories of excellence and best practices via Flow TV, the internet and social media channels. A series of features profiling the awardees will be produced and broadcast on Flow TV Channel 100 in the weeks leading up to the Gala Awards to be held in November.

Flow Celebrates Jamaica’s 50th with Special Summer Offer

As the island gears up for its celebrations of Jamaica 50, telecommunications provider, Flow, was one of the first companies to launch its summer promotion, ‘Turn It On’, which pays homage to the significant milestone.   Under the promotion, new and existing customers have a chance to win exciting weekly prizes including fifty (50) 32” Samsung LED televisions, over the course of the next thirteen weeks.
According to Denise Williams, director of government and corporate affairs at Columbus Communications Jamaica Ltd., operators of Flow and Columbus Business Solutions brands, this is a special promotion for Flow, given the significant milestone. “We wanted to do something really big for our customers.  We will utilize the promotion to give away 50 television sets, 50 cordless phones and 50 wireless routers to new customers who sign up for any Flow service, and to existing customers who pay their bills on time.  New customers will also benefit from 50% of installation and one month’s bill when they sign up for Flow’s services over the course of the promotion,” said Williams.
In addition, we have special activities planned, including road shows and live demonstrations, so that the public can experience first-hand how Flow services add value to their lives, with the fastest internet speeds, the most interactive cable features and the most affordable landline services, during the summer period.
The high-energy road shows kick-off on June 2 at the Courts Parking Lot in Portmore, St. Catherine. There will also be plenty of entertainment, prizes and surprises including on-the-spot giveaways that will not be available anywhere else and a special ‘kids zone’ for the children.
In speaking on the significance of the road shows, Yanique Forbes, brand marketing manager, Flow, said the organization is always seeking ways to give consumers more value and also to show appreciation for their loyalty.

The Flow Road show rolls into Sam Sharpe Square in Montego Bay on Friday, June 29. The Prime Trust Cambio in Ocho Rios will play host on Saturday, July 28, followed by a two-day show, August 3 to 4, at the Location TBC in Kingston. The road show will conclude where it started, at the Courts Parking Lot in Portmore, on Saturday, August 18.
